About Shannon O’Donnell (Principal Trainer):

Shannon has been an avid dog handler and certified trainer for over 27 years. He undertook his professional dog training at the Hillsborough Dog Obedience School and has subsequently designed and conducted several of his own dog training seminars at both beginner and advanced levels. Shannon only uses positive reinforcement methods to achieve results.

Shannon is a registered breeder and member of the Professional Dog Training Association (PDTA). He works with each dog and their owners, on a one to one basis. Solutions are tailored to the individual needs and temperaments of the dog. He is highly regarded for his work with highly reactive dogs and has had considerable success in desensitizing situations for reactive dogs. This is an area that is highly specialized and requires a very competent and experienced trainer.

Shannon has lived on the Sunshine Coast for over 17 years. He has a sincere love of animals, especially dogs. He finds the process of teaching and training dogs very rewarding and enjoys the results of watching dogs and their owners improve and develop closer bonds over time. Shannon has several of his own dogs, and they have been used in film work (“Yindi the last Koala”), and also in protection situations for celebrities such as John Farnham, Angry Anderson and Prime Minister, Mr John Howard.
